Surah Al – Kafirun is Makki Surah because it was revealed in Makkah .This Surah is the 109 chapter of Quran and it contains 6 Verses. The word Kafirun is referred for” the Disbelievers”.

قُلْ یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْكٰفِرُوْنَ(1) لَاۤ اَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ(2) وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُ(3) وَ لَاۤ اَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدْتُّمْ(4) وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ عٰبِدُوْنَ مَاۤ اَعْبُدُ(5) لَكُمْ دِیْنُكُمْ وَ لِیَ دِیْنِ(6)

BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
QUL YAAA-AYYUHAL KAAFIROON (1)
LAAA A’BUDU MAA T’ABUDOON (2)
WALAAA ANTUM’ AABIDOONA MAAA A’BUD(3)
WA LAAA ANA ‘AABIUM MA’ ABADTTUM (4)
WA LAAA ANTUM ‘AABIDOONA MAAA A’ BUD (5)

The importance of Surah Al Kafirun can be realized in only single statement by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that “The reward of reciting Surah kafirun is a quarter of the Holy Quran .
It was narrated from Abdullah bin Mas’ud (RA)
“Prophet Muhammad (SAW) used to recite the Surah Al Kafirun and Surah and Surah Ikhlas that for two Rak’ah after Maghrib.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said ,”if you recite the Surah Al Kafirun before going to sleep , it will clear you from shirk after sleeping .”(Abu Daud 4396 $ Hakim 1/565).
