قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ(1) مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ(2) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ(3) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِ(4) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ(5)

RECITATION OF SURAH FALAQ  DURING SICKNESS

It is narrated by Ayesha (RA):

Whenever Prophet Muhammad (SAW) became

sick ,He used to recite Surah Al -Falaq and Surah An -Nas (Mu’awwidhtayn)  and then rub his hands over his body .When he became seriously ill, I also used to recite (These 2 Surahs) and rub his hands over his body and hopes for its blessings.

PROTECTION FROM BLACK MAGIC

Surah Falaq and Surah Nas  are revealed for dealing with such issue like black Magic and  protection from evils eyes .

Uqbah ibn e Amir (RA) said ,

“The Prophet (SAW) commanded me to recite the Surah Falaq and Surah -Nas (2 chapters of refuge) after offering every prayer. (TIRMIDHI)

PROVIDE THE PROTECTION FROM ONE FRIDAY TO NEXT FRIDAY FROM EVIL

Prophet of Allah said : “ If someone recites Surah Al Ikhlass ,Surah Al Falaq ,and Surah Al Nass, seven times after offering Friday prayer ,Allah will reward   for that  and no evill can reach him until the up coming Friday .” It is a weak Hadith but it is not haram .
